HISTORY

The original village grew around the first oratory that became over the centuries a basilica first and then a parish church, around the year 1000.

In 1750 Podere Stignano appeared in the land registry of Leopoldino with its vineyards; in the fifties here was produced bulk wine.

The first vintage in bottle is from 1974: a date that marks the 50th anniversary of our Chianti Classico.

TODAY

In the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena, on the hills of Chianti: these are the geographical coordinates of our farm, a short distance from the ancient village of San Vincenti in the town of Gaiole in Chianti.

The property extends for 60 hectares, with vineyards arranged on a hilly ridge oriented northsouth at an altitude between 430-600m above sea level. The Chianti forest surrounds the estate and the beautiful farmhouse, completely restored and restored to its original beauty.

Around us, a unique scenery: churches and castles dotted with vineyards and olive groves, in a context where Nature and History coexist in perfect harmony. On the horizon, the Crete Senesi, Monte Amiata and Val D’Orcia Unesco World Heritage.

TOMORROW

Our first rule is RESPECT. Respect for the history, the territory and the beauty of
Tuscany. Our dream is a winery perfectly integrated into the territory, almost
invisible, built underground and with olive trees on top.

The Villa is already open and tomorrow will host our guests also overnight.
This is the place where you can live, relax and enjoy this unique oasis: tasting a glass of wine, hearing birds and the murmur of nature, and just waiting for the sunset and its magic atmosphere.
